Privacy policy
Last updated 17 July 2026
Desk Culture (“we”, “us”) handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
When you request a quote, hold a build, subscribe or contact us, we collect your name, email address, and — where you provide them — your phone number, postcode and the measurements of your room. We do not collect payment card details ourselves; payments, when enabled, are handled by our payment provider.
Why we collect it
To prepare and send your quote, to hold or fulfil an order, to arrange delivery, to answer your enquiry, and — if you opt in — to send you the WFH-law guide and occasional updates. We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the business: an email provider to send quotes and updates, our hosting provider, and (when live) a payment provider. They only receive what they need to perform that service. Some may store data outside Australia.
Marketing and opt-out
You can unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time using the link in the email, or by contacting us. Transactional messages about a quote or order are not marketing.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we’ll action reasonable requests promptly.
